Scoutmaster Misty Higdon received the Boy Scout Wheatland District Award of Merit, the highest award given in Scouting at the annual Baden Powell Banquet held in Hays. The Stockton Wrestling Club had three champions at the Plainville Open Tournament, with winners Joel Green, Kian Coffey, and Braden Higdon.

The team was comprised of Joseph White, Jon Bellerive, Calvin Dix, Austin Smith, Dustin Kriley, Stephen Moll, Austin Wieden, Adam Murchie, Jesse Prockish, Sage Penner, Scott Voss, Nolan Weiser, Chance Miller, Jared Keas (manager), head coach Adam North, and assistant coach Scott Bennett.

Loren Goodheart became a great-grandfather with the birth of Braelyn Rae Blackwill on November 18th. The family gathered at Thanksgiving and took a four-generation picture with Maxine Goodheart of Russell, 91, Loren Goodheart of Stockton, Jill and Trevor Blackwill, and little Miss Braelyn Rae.

What Was Going On 14 Years Ago • For December 14th • The annual Parade of Christmas Trees celebrated its 25th year at the Stockton Public Library. A weather system holding heavy snow and frigid cold had taken over the area, and when it finally stopped snowing, there was a total of 11 inches of snow accumulation.
