KC trip enjoyed by Solutions North Bank employees

What better way to combine a team-building experience with some fun than to mix in a trip to Kansas City to see the Royals play baseball? That is precisely what Solutions North Bank President and CEO Dale Winklepleck did for his employees and spouses when he planned the weekend event. Winklepleck rented two dugout suites and a signature suite to have the best seats in the house to watch an incredible baseball game between the Royals and Los Angeles Angels on Saturday, June 17th.

RCH car chauffeurs pediatric patients to procedures

Rooks County Health Center (RCH) has added another vehicle to its fleet, this time in the service of pediatric care and comfort. A radio-controlled car is operated by an RCH staff member at all times when some of the younger patients are 'driving' to surgery or other procedures that might seem bewildering or even somewhat scary.

The Swing Into Summer Festival Car Show, which was held on Saturday, June 17th, is now just a great memory with the following list of people having bragging rights for the year as the Sigma Phi ESA game winners: Sack Race: First and second-place winners were (three age groups): Lincoln Hilbrink and Hudson Horn; Harper Lowry and Blake Balthazor; and Camille Lowry and Sidnee Brown.

Champions selected at 2023 Kansas Junior Angus Show

Kansas Junior Angus members led 108 entries at the 2023 Kansas Junior Angus Association Preview Show, June 3-4 in Hutchinson. Austin Vieselmeyer, Amherst, Colo., evaluated six bred-and-owned bulls, 51 owned females, 13 bred-and-owned females, 17 registered Angus steers and 21 phenotype and genotype females before choosing winners.
