The following traffic fines were received last week in Rooks County District Court for speeding: Robert Eugene Crane, Jr., $165; Misty Mikay Elliott, $171; Joshua Robert Gauger, $222; Christen Brooke Greying, $183; Catherine Louise Klein, $159; Brian Carl Naumann, $165; Nikki Nicole Plante, $153; Justin Duane Tonn, $153; and Todd Barry Norris, $153, plus $30 for failure to wear seatbelt.

In addition, Matthew Wiechmann paid $153 for driving without headlights when needed; and Norman William Younger, paid $30 for failure to wear seatbelt.

Judgments

State of Kansas vs. Seth A. Lynd, Hays, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Defendant found guilty on amended Count 1, Possession of Controlled Substance; sentenced to 12 months in Rooks County Jail, all but nine days served suspended; placed on 12 months supervised pro-bation; ordered to pay a total of $463 in fines, court costs and fees.

State of Kansas vs. Jane W. Stevens, Wichita, Giving a Worthless Check Defendant found guilty as charged; sentenced to 30 days in jail; placed on probation for nine months; ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $53.88 to Rooks County Treasurer in addition to court costs and fees.

State of Kansas vs. Troy A. Riggs, Stockton, Burglary, Attempted Theft. Defendant pled guilty to amended Count 1, Interference With Law Enforcement Officer, and amended Count 2, Theft; sentenced to 12 months in Rooks County Jail for each Count; all of jail sentence suspended and defendant placed on 12 months supervised probation with all of jail sentence and probation of Count 2 to run concurrently with Count 1; ordered to pay all court costs and fees.

City of Plainville vs. Jennifer K. Couse, Plainville, Recovery of Money. Case dismissed.

City of Stockton vs. Cory McQueen, Plainville, Recovery of Money. Case dismissed.

LVNV Funding, LLC vs. Peter G. Mohlmann, Plainville, Recovery of Money. Case dismissed.

Citibank, N.A. vs. Janice L. Jones, Plainville, Recovery of Money. Judgment for plaintiff. Defendant ordered to pay the sum of $2,160.43.

Mr. K’s Foodtown vs. Dyllan Lynch, Recovery of Money. Judgment for plaintiff in the amount of $728.92.

Newton Healthcare Corporation d/b/a Newton Medical Center vs. Brandy Sue Grimes, Recovery of Money. Judgment for plaintiff in the amount of $1,101.40 plus court costs and fees.

Midland Credit Management, Inc. vs. Mark McCammack, Plainville, Recovery of Money. Judgment for plaintiff in the amount of $851.66 plus court costs and fees.
