Rooks County continues to see a decrease in new COVID-19 cases throughout the county. This week, the absenteeism rate is at 0.8% above the baseline from 2019-2020. The positive testing rate is at 13.0% this week. Rooks County continues to receive weekly allocations of the COVID-19 vaccine and will follow the Kansas Vaccination Phases. Rooks County is currently in Phase 2. If you are interested in getting on the list to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, please call  the health department or your primary care physician. 

School districts will continue in-person for the week of March 8-12, 2021. If there is any adjustment required to the learning setting due to concerns in the schools, we will update your family quickly following a decision.
