LAST FRIDAY, OCT. 9, WAS “SERENITY DAY” IN STOCKTON, as Serenity Carpenter was taken on a Scavenger Hunt to find gifts provided by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Serenity wished for technology that will keep her connected with friends and family during her six-month stay in Kansas City. Serenity Carpenter is a beautiful 10-year-old girl with a big smile and a sweet spirit. Serenity, daughter of Michael and Jordan Carpenter, was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis in 2018 and is preparing to begin stem cell transplant treatments at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. This…
