NUMBERED. As is typical with aging, I'm struggling with gaining weight and losing hair though I'm trying to reverse that and lose the weight and keep the hair. One of the many amazing promises in the Bible is Matthew 10:30, 'But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.' What's astonishing, though, is the verb 'numbered.' A better translation is that our hairs were all numbered in the past and remain numbered. In other words, this verse tells us that God always knows the exact number of our hairs. While not surprising, that's a pretty incredible promise, seeing that the average number of hairs on our heads is roughly 100,000.
