HOPPY EASTER!

Which one is your favorite bunny or rabbit?

Is it Mr. Bunny Rabbit from the 1950/1960s Captain Kangaroo television show? He was always tricking the Captain into giving him his carrots. I liked the carrots because they always had the greens still on them. But if I am truthful, I loved Mr. Moose the best because he always made those ping pong balls bounce! I do love Thumper from the Disney film “Bambi.”

I do love Thumper from the Disney film “Bambi.”

There is also Roger Rabbit from the Disney film “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” who is always H-A-P-P-I!

And we can’t forget Rabbit, one of Winnie-The-Pooh’s many friends in the Hundred Acre Woods.

Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” included the March Hare, who hosted the Mad Tea Party!

And though he may by late, there is also the White Rabbit from “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.”

There’s the Energizer Bunny complete with sunglasses and a drum—and who just keeps on going and going!

Don’t forget that silly Trix Rabbit! He did love his cereal, even though Trix is for kids!

“What’s up, doc?” and do you have any carrots for Bugs Bunny?

And how about Bugs’ girlfriend, Lola Bunny, who made her debut in the 1996 film “Space Jam?”

Peter Rabbit was always getting into trouble in Beatrix Potter’s book! Then there is also Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail!

Bre’er Rabbit from the Uncle Remus stories is always using his wits to get himself out of trouble once he gets himself into trouble!

Jimmy Stewart’s character, Elwood P. Dowd, had a 6 foot 3 ½ inch tall invisible white rabbit friend named Harvey.

The Velveteen Rabbit is a classic favorite of many girls and boys.

We have to include the Cadbury Bunny just because of those yummy Cadbury eggs, though I do love the lion who tries out for the part of the bunny for the commericals!

But of course, the most famous of all is the Easter Bunny and he is sure to be everyone’s favorite during this Easter season! So here is wishing you all a Hoppy Easter Egg! And enjoy those jelly beans, especially the red ones!
