THIS AND THAT

* TGIF! We all know what that means—or do we? I saw a sign in the Stockton Pharmacy window when I was walking by that reads “TGIF! Thank God I Farm!”

* Got another favorite HGTV show called “Fixer to Fabulous.” Dave and Jenny Marrs renovate and sell historic houses in their hometown of Bentonville, Ark. What got me hooked on this show is that Dave Marrs stated the houses aren’t complete until he hangs up the American flag.

* And speaking of HGTV shows, The Property Brothers have launched another new series entitled “Celebrity IOU” that just started airing on Monday nights. The premise of the show is the celebrity surprises a friend or family member by renovating their house. The celebrity lineup includes Jeremy Renner, Brad Pitt, Melissa McCarthy, Rebel Wilson and Michael Buble.

* For those of you who have lost track of time, today is Blursday the Fortyteenth of Maprilay.

* My sister purchased a bag of 200 tulips, which she planted last fall. The package was labeled as light pastel colors. The tulips are just now starting to bloom and to date she has one light pink tulip, one yellow tulip and dozens upon dozens of ruby red tulips! I told her next time to buy the bag that is labeled red tulips.

* With all of this social distancing, my sweet grandbabies are finding fun ways to interact with me. One day the doorbell rang and when I went to answer it, on my doorstep I found two salt dough Easter Bunny decorations they had made and had painted. A few days later I found a chalk drawing on my driveway! So I decided to get into the action and I dropped off some flowers and candy by their front door! Then this past Saturday I helped the Easter Bunny out by setting up an Easter Egg Hunt in their front yard!

* After years of wanting to thoroughly clean my house but lacking the time, this week I discovered that wasn’t the reason.

* I have been checking out what’s on a few different Dish channels that I get on the TV and found out that one station just started airing the TV series “Quantam Leap!” I loved that show and have it set to record each and every episode! Now if I could just find the channel that is airing the “Highlander” TV series! “There can only be one!”
