VIRGI’S RAMBLINGS

* So sorry to hear about the passing of actor Brian Dennehy. He had a long and illustrious career on Broadway and the movies, and even though these are not his most famous roles, I will remember him for his characters in “Rambo,” “Cocoon,” and “F/X.”

* I love this one…..“It’s cute that they sell family-sized Oreo boxes thinking that people are gonna share them with their family.”

* Yes, I have the virtual reality ride of Disney World’s Big Thunder Railroad on my phone so I can ride it every day!

* And speaking again of “NCIS: New Orleans,” it wasn’t bad enough they shot Christopher LaSalle, but before that happened, his girlfriend was shot for no reason and his brother Cade was also killed! Now they have Richard Thomas (John Boy Walton!!) playing the bad guy! Who is doing the casting and writing for that show? And on a side note, you might all be wondering why I am still watching the show since I am still very upset about the demise of my favorite character—well the reason would be actor Scott Bakula (Dwayne Pride) is still on the series and I have liked him ever since he was Dr. Sam Beckett in “Quantum Leap.”

* Lord give me Faith like Daniel, Hope like Moses, Heart like David, Patience like Job and Belief like Mary.

* I read this and wanted to pass it along. The Moon, Venus and Jupiter will be aligned in such a way that they will form a smiley face on Saturday, May 16th. I hope it’s a clear night!

* Remember to only leave your house for the “Bare Necessities!”

* In a world full of trends I want to remain a classic.

* I am ready for one of those long bear hugs from my family members where you kinda forget whatever else is happening around you for a minute or two!

* My mother’s rule of thumb was not to plant anything in the ground until Mother’s Day. (That is usually when night and morning frosts are usually over for the year.) Anyway, it always worked for her and now it works for me! But, if I must say, with all of this nice weather we are having—and for something fun to do—I have slowly been putting a few flowers in pots and sneaking one or two plants into my flower garden! Shhh!! Don’t tell Mother Nature!
