* Hey, who remembers Mr. Shier’s junior high English class? Do you all remember when we had to memorize the poem “Daffodils” by William Woodsworth? If nothing else, it does remind me of March and spring!!

* This is so true…“Cooking a dinner takes like four or five hours, eating it takes like three seconds, and washing the dishes takes like seven or eight days and nights.”

* Guess which quarterback NFL Hall Of Famer-to-be Peyton Manning’s kids like? I will give you one guess.

* One year ago my daughter and I took the kiddos to see “Disney On Ice” in Wichita. We sat right by the ice, had popcorn and Sprite, waved at and got to greet some of the characters, as well as Tessa even getting to be part of the show, sang along with everyone in the entirely packed venue, bought souvenirs, went out to eat, went swimming in the hotel’s pool, went shopping, and basically had a glorious time throughout the entire weekend without a care in the world! I am ready to go back to that 100%!

* Alright, alright, alright! Actor Matthew McConaughey is coordinating a benefit for his home state of Texas.

* Here are some March holidays I was not aware of, but need to take advantage of…..National Oreo Day on March 6th, National Cereal Day on March 7th, National Napping Day on March 8th, World Sleep Day on March 12th, and National Puppy Day on March 23rd.

* My niece recently sent this saying to our family morning text and I want to pass it on. “Someone once told me to always live for the little things in life. Live for the 5:00 a.m. sunrises and 5:00 p.m. sunsets where you’ll always see colors in the sky that don’t usually belong. Live for the road trips and bike rides with music in your ears and the the wind in your hair. Live for days when you are surrounded by your favorite people who make you realize that the world is not a cold, a harsh place. Live for the little things because they will make you realize that this is what life is about, this is what it means to be alive.”

* May good luck be with you wherever you go, and your blessings outnumber the Shamrocks that grow!
