THIS AND THAT

* Alex Karev has left “Grey’s Anatomy.” I haven’t watched this TV series for quite a number of years, but I had to watch this one episode since it was about Alex, one of the few remaining original cast members that I liked. And it was so worth it because now he is with Izzy as he should have been from the beginning. Plus, I just want to say to “NCIS: New Orleans,” that is how you write out a great character since I am still upset they just shot and killed Christopher LaSalle! Yes, I am still upset about that! So here’s a relatable post I saw on Instagram that is perfect for how I feel…..“Excuse me favorite character, did I give you permission to die?”

* Know your worth and then add tax.

* We took our annual Disney On Ice trip to Wichita to celebrate Tessa’s birthday month. It was FANTAZMIC!! We had seats close to the ice and the kids loved it when Mickey, Minnie and all the characters floated by and waved at them. And I have to admit, I loved it too! Tessa was also chosen to be the one to push the heart button on the computer to start the second half of the show! She was so excited when they announced her name! It doesn’t get much better than that for a birthday celebration.

* This is so true… “Admit it, we don’t call Gatorade by its flavors, we call it by its colors.”

* Most of my favorite TV shows air on Tuesday night, so I have the following plan in place so I can watch them all….“The Resident” and “NCIS” air at the same time at 7:00 p.m., so I watch “The Resident” while Dish Prime Time records “NCIS.” I then watch “NCIS” at 8:00 p.m. fast forwarding through the commercials while Dish records “This Is Us,” which airs at 8:00 p.m. At 9:00 p.m. I watch the recorded “This Is Us” while Dish records “New Amsterdam,” which airs at 9:00 p.m. Once I have watched “This Is Us,” I finish up my marathon of TV shows by watching “New Amsterdam.” By fast forwarding through the commercials on the recorded shows, I can be done by 10:30 p.m. “NCIS: New Orleans” used to be on Tuesday nights as well, but the station has moved it to Sunday evenings, which helps out my Tuesday TV marathon watching system a lot!
