SHS and Woodston Alumni reunions cancelled for this year

The Stockton High School Alumni banquet and reunion that was scheduled for Sunday, May 24th has been cancelled for this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And along with the cancellation of the reunion, the Stockton VFW Post #8873 has cancelled all Memorial Day services for Monday, May 25th.

The Woodston Rural High School Alumni’s annual carry-in meal and meeting has also been cancelled for 2020. Careful consideration was given by the association’s officers due to the uncertain future of the coronavirus situation foremost in this decision. President Darrell Rubottom stated, “We hope to continue the traditional Memorial Weekend gathering in the future.”
