The following traffic fines were received last week in Rooks County District Court for speeding: Melissa Dawn Adams, $171; Emily Jo Applegate, $153; Aron R. Bode, $153; Shad Brian Chandler, $159; Thomas Allen Cox, Jr., $108; Thomas Jonathan Duncan, $275; Jacob Dylan Fetterolf, $293; Lawrence Dean Fetterolf, $159; Joshua Edward Foster, $159; Eldon Ardean Gregg, $189; Karen Hans, $177; Joseph Hargrave, $183 plus $75 for violation of basic speed rule; Bill Jon Hoeting, Jr., $153; September L. Martin, $171; Dylan Ostrum, $177; Macey Jayde Speier, $159; Lori Suzanne Stevens, $195; Sergio Arturo Vallejo, $153; and Robert Edwin Wasinger, $153.
In addition, for seatbelt 18+ violation, Daniel R. Finke, Ariel Jean Fraser, Charles Arthur Navarro, Jr., and Whitney James Roenne each paid $30; for registration violation, Dawn Palmer, $223; and for transporting an open container, Steven Blake Self and Steven Roy Self each paid $158.
Judgments
State of Kansas vs. Alexis L. Germaine, Stockton, Criminal Trespass. Defendant entered Diversion, ordered to pay $703 court costs.
State of Kansas vs. Sterling L. Spence, Woodston, Driving While License is Suspended, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Transporting an Open Container, No Current Registration. Count 1 dismissed; Defendant pled No Contest to DUI (first offense); all other charges dismissed. Defendant sentenced to six months in county jail, all but 48 hours suspended; placed on 12 months probation, ordered to pay fine of $750 plus court costs and to obtain alcohol evaluation.
State of Kansas vs. Izak L. Hays, Plainville, Possession of Marijuana, two counts Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Defendant entered Diversion, ordered to pay a total of $1,003 in fines and court costs.
World Pest Control, Inc., Plainville vs. Ryan and Samantha Tremblay, Plainville, Recovery of Money. Case dismissed.
Astra Bank, Abilene, vs. Mark A. Roy, Palmer, Neb., et al, Petition to Foreclose Mortgage. Judgment for plaintiff in the amount of $51,914.03.
