Vehicle reported stolen from Plainville residence March 2nd

According to social media posts from the Rooks County Sheriff’s Department, the Plainville Police Department is investigating a stolen vehicle out Plainville.

The vehicle is a fourdoor, 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, Dark Blue in color and, at the time of the theft, it was bearing KS Plate 519JJG.

The Plainville Police Department took a report of a stolen vehicle on Monday, March 2nd, at 4:00 a.m., from a residence in Plainville.

The vehicle had a KU tag on the front that was starting to fade and was taken during the early morning hours of Monday, March 2.

Keys were in vehicle at the time of the theft along with owner’s wallet containing drivers license and debit card.

The suspect used the owners debit card at the Hays Walmart at 3:42 a.m. March 2.

The card was then used at a convenience store in Salina later that morning. The suspect left in an unknown direction of travel from Salina.

The suspect is described as a white female, mid 20s to early 30s with long blonde hair.

As of 4 p.m. Thursday, March 5th, the suspect had not been identified.
