School board holds special meeting

A special meeting of the Stockton Unified School District No. 271 Board of Education was held Tuesday, March 25th, 2020 in the District Office, with the following board members present: Linda Conyac and Mark Billinger, and superintendent Bill Lowry in Board Room. Board members Aftan Tso, Jesse Stithem, Stephanie Niblock, Daphne Plumer and Leann Dix, as well as high school principal Gary McCown and grade school principal Stacey Green via Zoom.

The meeting was called to order by president Linda Conyac. Visitors were welcomed.

A motion was made by Linda Conyac to approve the agenda. The motion was seconded by Mark Billinger. The motion carried yes 7, no 0.

The Board discussed a Continuous Learning Plan for the remainder of the school year with an April 1st online roll out.

A motion was made by Linda Conyac to approve the Resolution Regarding Wage Payments during Emergency School Closings as presented. The motion was seconded by Mark Billinger. The motion carried yes 7, no 0.

The next board meeting will be held on Friday, April 3rd at 5:30 p.m.

A motion was made by Daphne Plumer to adjourn the meeting at 6:15 p.m. The motion was seconded by Mark Billinger. The motion carried yes 7, no 0.
