Delores (Jacobs) Ice, of Stockton, passed away on November 5, 2023, at the Wilson Care and Rehab in Wilson, at the age of 84.

She was born on October 7, 1939, to Joseph and Anna (Wasinger) Jacobs in LaCrosse, Kansas.

She spent part of her life in LaCrosse, Victoria, and on a farm south of Plainville before moving into Plainville. While working in Plainville, she met and married Mike Hassett from Stockton. To this union, on February 1, 1958, one daughter was born before moving to California, where another daughter was born. They later divorced. In 1973, she married David Ice and moved to Stockton in 1978. She spent thirty-some years working at the Stockton Pharmacy before retiring in 2009.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Jim and Tom; five sisters: Gerry, Mary Ann, Caroline, Betty, and Jeanie; and many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Randy) Riffel of Stockton and Vicki (Mark) Burgett of Arbuckle, Calif.; two grandsons, Daniel and Donnie Riffel; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Janice Fetterolf of Hays and Shirley Terry of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Joe Jacobs of Dodge City, and Bert and John Jacobs of Hays; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home in Stockton. Burial will follow in the Stockton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
