* Just so you know, the Critics Choice Awards TV show only had 1.1 million viewers as opposed to any of the football playoff games during the January 14th weekend, with the lowest rating being over 11 million. The average viewership for the football games was 18 million.

* Can you believe that the month of January is almost over?

* Just a suggestion. With the outrageous prices of eggs these days, how about we color potatoes for Easter?

* I hate getting taxed on my wages, just to get taxed when I purchase food or merchandise, and get taxed every year on property/vehicles I already own and paid taxes on when I bought it.

* I think Stockton should plant a community garden. * The Nova Theatre shows movies advertised as “In Theatres Only” before they start streaming a few weeks later. That usually means the Nova has to show the movie for at least two weeks. This may work fine for theatres with more than one screen, but for one-screen theatres, not so much. A suggestion is to show some classic movies if we have a two-week contract, but the studios won’t allow that. We can only show the contracted movie. Please be patient as the Nova Board works out some kinks, and the studios figure out that people want to go to the movies! At least we are seeing that the studios are learning that in a lot of the highly-anticipated movies coming out this spring and summer as “In Theatres Only.” To name a few, there are Creed III; Shazam! Fury of the Gods; Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3; Book Club: The Next Chapter; Fast X; The Super Mario Brothers; Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret; The Little Mermaid; Spider-man: Across the Spiderverse; Transformers: Rise of the Beast; The Flash; and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. And that’s the lineup through the month of June!

*Who remembers making gum wrapper chains back in the day?

* And I know I will get some hate for this, but I am not or will ever be a fan of Stranger Things. Give me Wednesday.
