* Although I really, really, really love summer and relaxing by the swimming pool getting my tan on, I am more than ready for those crisp 58 degree autumn days when I can wear my favorite hoodie, curl up in my comfy chair, watch football, and sip on some hot cocoa.

* Have you reached your “Wonder Years?” Like I wonder where I parked my car. I wonder where I left my phone. I wonder where my sunglasses are. I wonder what day it is. I wonder why I walked into this room. I wonder what your name is.

* She’s a 10, but she’s also a 14, an 8 and a 12. Buying pants online is pretty crazy!

* Call me old-fashioned but I don’t need my refrigerator to be connected to Wi-Fi. Just keep my food cold, please.

* I can’t believe it is the last full week of August! September is next week. So when is it okay to pick out a Halloween costume and start Christmas shopping?

* And speaking of Halloween…..I am a firm believer that Fall decorations and Halloween decorations are two very specific vibes. But lots and lots of colorful mums work for both!

* I am going to try this because my whites never stay white. Put your garment in a sink or clean bucket. Cover with warm water. Add one fourth cup of hydrogen peroxide, one cup of baking soda, and one teaspoon dish soap if the garment has any grease stains. Mix it around and soak for a while. Wash as usual.

* Remember when you were scared of the dark when you were young? Now when I see my electricity bill, I am scared of the lights!

* Pray for Maui. I won’t give you my thoughts on the fires, but will ask you to check out the facts for yourselves.

And speaking of Ed O’Neill, if you haven’t seen the movie, “Little Giants” it’s a great football movie the whole family can enjoy!
