I wonder what our country would be like today if Trump were still in office.

* This new Snow White movie will be a bomb if it gets to the theatres. Throughout movie history, studios have taken creative license to original stories and fairy tales, but this one makes me shake my head. What were they thinking? Or were they even thinking at all? If you want to watch a Snow White movie that did change out the seven dwarfs, check out the 1961 version of “Snow White and the Three Stooges.” You will love it!

* I read someone’s suggestion that abandoned malls should be turned into retirement homes. There would already be a food court, movie theater, and arcade in the ones with two or three stories. Think of how incredible those rooms would be!

* ‘80s Rewind: Strawberry Shortcake, Cabbage Patch Kids, My Little Pony, Nintendo, and Tinkerbell Perfume.

* I like this one…“You can leave $5,000.00 unattended in a room with me; every dime will be there when you come back. Now, if you leave M&Ms, that’s your fault.

* I love the rock band Chicago. One of my fondest memories is my first performance as a pom pom girl dancing to the song “25 or 6 to 4” on the Stockton Tiger football field with the marching band lined up behind us. And since we are talking about Chicago, I must mention Peter Cetera, one of the lead singers. What a voice, what a songwriter, and what a cutie!

* Another cutie in an entirely different context is actor Henry Cavill (Superman/The Witcher). Did you know he was in the 2002 movie “The Count of Monte Cristo” as Albert Mondego?

* I am so old I remember when school didn’t start until after Labor Day!

* ‘60s Rewind: Hit Songs of 1961: “Runaround Sue” by Dion, “I Fall to Pieces” by Patsy Cline, “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King, “Crying” by Roy Orbison, “Will You Love Me Tomorrow?” by The Shirelles. * On Friday, September 1st, my house is going into “Autumn” mode. And I don’t care what the temperature is outside!
