This ‘n That
* After hearing that Usher will be the Super Bowl halftime show entertainer, I am not that upset that it isn’t NSYNC. First, because I do love Usher, and second, it gives me hope that NSYNC might be going on tour! They did collaborate on a song for the upcoming movie “Trolls Band Together” coming to theatres in November. And I think with all this social media hype the guys have been getting, it just might be enough to convince them they must get back together for a national tour! And as for Usher, I only have one word, “Yeah!”
* Since I first heard that there might be a chance of that NSYNC tour, if you see me looking at you while you are talking to me, I am not listening—I am singing one of their songs in my head. And yes, Lance Bass is my favorite NSYNC guy!
* I thought this was cute. “If I was a Care Bear, I would have a taco on my belly.”
* I will say it: I don’t get Taylor Swift at all. Not with voices like Whitney Houston and Celine Dion.
* And just talk about football during the football games, please.
* It’s October and time for spooky fun, caramel apples, jumping into piles of leaves, going to football games, hoodies, and the list goes on and on!
* The statute of limitations has run out by now, so I can tell you one of the tricks we did back in the day on Halloween night. In high school, my friend Tessy and I planned this trick a week or so before Halloween. One of the staff members at the school, who shall remain nameless, had raked their yard and put all of the leaves in giant piles behind their fence in the alley. On Halloween night, I bet we spent a good hour throwing every single leaf back over the fence into their yard! It was hard work, but we laughed the entire time and thought we got away with quite a trick! * I love to see all the pictures of people’s porches decorated for the fall season, filled to the brim with mums, pumpkins, and everything fall. I have often
thought of going big like that with more decorations in front of my door, but then I remember I will have to clean that all up in a few weeks, so I will stay with my minimal decorations. I will appreciate all that glorious work done by other people.
* Here is a good one….“Stop complaining about your life. There are literally people living in California and New York!
