JUST SAYING…

* Out of all the celebrations after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, the one celebration I would have wanted to party at would have been the kegger at actor Paul Rudd’s mom’s house in Kansas City!

* Out of everything that happened during and after the Super Bowl, my sweet Miss Tessa was most impressed with the fact that Patrick Mahomes got to go to Disney World!

* Read about the passing of actor Kirk Douglas. My favorite movie that he starred in is “Spartacus.” For me, the best line in that film is one he didn’t say—“I’m Spartacus.”

* Ethan Zohn and Boston Rob are on this season of Survivor! I will watch the TV show as long as they are on it by recording it and then fast forwarding to the parts I want to watch. Here’s hoping they make it to the end!

* This past December one of my great-nieces did a Christmas Sweater Challenge and took a selfie for 25 straight days wearing a different Christmas outfit. She then posted the pictures on Instagram. It was so much fun checking out what she was wearing every day. I told her, with my collection of socks, it would be no problem at all for me to do a 25-day Christmas Sock Challenge, a 25-day Disney Sock Challenge, a 31-day Halloween Sock Challenge, a 10-day Sports Sock Challenge, a 30-day Holiday Sock Challenge which would include New Years, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, etc., and at least a 14-day Movie Sock Challenge. Plus, I would still have a ton of socks left over!

* I happen to like Russell Wilson’s new hairstyle.

* I did not watch the Academy Awards.

* My heart melted when I was watching an episode of “This Is Us” and they did a flashback when Kate’s character was young. She and her dad were making up a story about a little girl, and she wanted a prince in her story. When they played out the story scene it showed little Kate standing in a beautiful forest waiting for her “Prince Charming.” And who else but her Daddy walked out from behind the tree?
