1A Post-Season basketball sites announced

The Kansas State High School Activities Association has released the sites for post-season basketball across the state. Stockton, who will be competing in Class 1A will be playing in the Mankato-Rock Hills Regional, along with Almena-Northern Valley, Downs-Lakeside, Kensington-Thunder Ridge, Logan, Mankato-Rock Hills, and Osborne. The tournament will take place on February 24-29, with the first round games being played at the site of the higher seed. The boys will play Monday and the girls on Tuesday. The Thursday (boys semis), Friday (girls semis) and Saturday (boys and girls championships) will be played in Mankato.

The top two girls’ and boys’ teams out of the regional tournament will advance to sub-state at either Russell or WaKeeney on March 2-7. The Class 1A State Basketball Tournament will be played at the United Wireless Arena in Dodge City on March 11-14.
