After a close first quarter which saw Stockton trailing just 9-8, the Ring-necks used an aggressive defense to hold the Tigers to just five points over the next two quarters. Hill City would add 17 and 10 points in the second and third quarters, respectively, to take a 36-13 lead into the final eight minutes.

Picking up the intensity in the fourth period, Stockton was able to play with Hill City, but were unable to make up any ground, falling by the score of 51-27.

Junior Kameran Hamel led the Tigers in scoring with 11 points.

Hill City had four players in double figures: Dalen Journigan 16, Michael Blanks 11, and Kyle Richmeier and Derek Keith 10 each.
