Tiger wrestlers compete in the Beloit Invitational

The Stockton Tigers competed in the always-tough Beloit Invitational Wrestling Tournament held this past Friday and Saturday. As a team, the Tigers were 20th with 13.5 points, with no one making the podium from Stockton. Blue Valley Southwest won the tourney with 261.5 points. Chanute (197.0) and Marysville (133.0) rounded out the top three teams.

Four other squads from the Mid-Continent League participated in the tourney: Hoxie (4th with 131.5 points), Smith Center (10th, 74 points), Plainville (11th, 69 points), and Hill City (14th , 34 points).

This Friday the Tiger wrestlers will be in Ellis for the Mid-Continent League Tournament which is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
