Tigers compete well in Salina South Tournament

The Stockton Tigers had two wrestlers place second, and one each place third, fourth and fifth at the Salina South Varsity Invitational Tournament held last Saturday. Trenton Howell and Rylan Basart were second at 132 and 182, respectively, Leighton Colburn was third at 138, Deyton Bedore was fourth at 160, and Justin Knoll was fifth at 126.

As a team the Tigers finished seventh with 52 points. Team scores were:

1. Andale 137; 2. Colby 125; 3. Salina Central 94.5;

4. Salina South 87; 5. Plain-ville 83; 6. Wichita Heights 66; and 7. Stockton 52.

This Saturday Stockton will be on the road to Oberlin for a tournament set to begin at 9:30 a.m.
