The Board of Directors of the Kansas Association of Elementary School Principals (KAESP) has announced the 2020 National Distinguished Principal Honoree. Mrs. Stacey Green, Stock ton’s Elementary Principal, has been chosen to represent the State of Kansas as this year’s National Distinguished Principal. Stacey was surprised with the announcement when Stockton Superintendent Bill Lowry asked her come to the District Office on Friday, April 10th. Little did she know that her family was there to celebrate with her when the KAESP Board of Directors held a Zoom meeting announcing the honor! Mrs. Green will now be invited to
Mrs. Green will now be invited to Washington, D.C. in October to be recognized with other National Disguished Principals from across the nation.
Mrs. Green was also honored with being named District V’s KAESP 2020 District Distinguished Principal Award winners.
The Board of Directors said they had made a wise choice in their decision when they made the announcement, with Mr. Lowry stating, “Mrs. Green is very deserving of this honor.”
