Western Plains Painters enjoy a Workday in Palco

Twelve members of Western Plains Painters met at the Palco Township Hall on Saturday, February 18th. Sherry Robinson gave instructions and showed a video to the club about using good compositional principles in setting up Still Life Vignettes for painting. The members practiced using the guidelines to set up a variety of Vignettes in various ways.

Williams in contract to purchase Stockton Estates

Since Colton Williams launched Williams Lawn & Junk Removal in 2019, he has not looked back. He keeps moving forward with the start-up of his second business, ROHO Estates, LLC, and the recent announcement of his transitional contract for Stockton Estates to help fulfill the need for affordable houses to rent or buy in the community.

City commissioners approve several donation requests at meeting

There was no Old Business for the Stockton City Commission, which met on Tuesday, February 7th, so they moved directly into New Business. The first item on the list was the approval of a building permit for a privacy fence at 221 North Cedar. Next, the commissioners appointed employee Andy Saaranen as the City’s voting delegate for the upcoming water conference.
