Alvin Joseph Schrandt passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 in his home in Plainville at the age of 91, surrounded by his family.

He was born on March 11, 1929, to William and Catherine (Adam) Schrandt in Plainville. He was united in marriage to Betty (Camerer) Schrandt on May 5, 1956 at the Sacred Heart Church in Plainville. They were blessed with a daughter, Regina, and later fostered ten other children.

Melissa “Missy” Ann Finnesy passed away on October 3, 2020, at the Redbud Village in Plainville, at the age of 60.

Doyle Leon Post passed away on October 2, 2020 at the Redbud Village in Plainville, at the age of 94.

He was born on July 3, 1926 in Woodston, KS to James Owen and Malena Afi (Gregory) Post. Doyle married Lauretta Weldon on June 30, 1946 in Natoma. They were blessed with three children: Cecelia, Linda, and Gary.

Lauretta passed away in 1967 and on August 12, 1977, Doyle married Ruth Adeline Swindler in Russell, to which seven step-children were added to his family. Doyle and Ruth were together until she passed away in 2008.

Glenn Max Drotts, age 81, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020, after living a full life of adventures.

Family man, beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, he gave his last adoring look to his wife Gail Drotts on at 5:37 a.m. that morning—true to himself—always bright and early. 

He fought a short, strong and unfair fight with cancer, with his wife Gail by his side day in and day out. 

Linda Lulubell Fry passed away on September 25, 2020 at the Solomon Valley Manor in Stockton, at the age of 73.

She was born on July 10, 1947 at the family farm in rural Natoma to Erle Edmond and Leona Martha (Chrisler) Beck. She was married to Harvey Fry on November 26, 1968 in state of Washington.
