Alvin Joseph Schrandt passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 in his home in Plainville at the age of 91, surrounded by his family.

He was born on March 11, 1929, to William and Catherine (Adam) Schrandt in Plainville. He was united in marriage to Betty (Camerer) Schrandt on May 5, 1956 at the Sacred Heart Church in Plainville. They were blessed with a daughter, Regina, and later fostered ten other children.

Doyle Leon Post

Doyle Leon Post passed away on October 2, 2020 at the Redbud Village in Plainville, at the age of 94.

He was born on July 3, 1926 in Woodston, KS to James Owen and Malena Afi (Gregory) Post. Doyle married Lauretta Weldon on June 30, 1946 in Natoma. They were blessed with three children: Cecelia, Linda, and Gary.

Lauretta passed away in 1967 and on August 12, 1977, Doyle married Ruth Adeline Swindler in Russell, to which seven step-children were added to his family. Doyle and Ruth were together until she passed away in 2008.

He fought a short, strong and unfair fight with cancer, with his wife Gail by his side day in and day out.
