Eugene D. Ross

Phillipsburg resident Eugene D. Ross passed away April 25, 2023, at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 79.

He was born Jan. 30, 1944, in Rooks County, the son of Dewey and Eula (Sammons) Ross.

Survivors include his son Mitch of Stockton; daughter Shannon Hahn of Overland Park; brother Everett of Arkansas City; a sister, Phyllis Breese of Smith Center; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 1, in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating. The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. Burial will follow in the Slate Cemetery, Rooks County.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church or the Phillips County Hospital Nursing Department.
