This ‘n That

* Let’s face it. Most of us watched the Coronation of King Charles III just to see Prince William, Princess Catherine and their children. And we were all thinking of Princess Diana.

* You score points if you get this one….If I had the money and purchased a Delorean, I would probably only drive it from time to time.

* My sister and I watched the movie, “Secretariat” in tribute to his awesomeness 50 years ago when he captured the Triple Crown in record time! And yes, we did watch it when it actually happened all those years ago.

* Calling Dr. Noah Drake from General Hospital! Anybody know who played that character? Because I do! I only watched that soap opera back then because the doctor was none other than ‘80s singer and actor Rick Springfield! I LOVE the song, “Jesse’s Girl,” which my family can attest to, and I have all his albums, yes, albums! I also went to a concert of his with my sister, Katy, when he was in Kansas City at the Starlight Theatre. We weren’t as close to the stage as I would have liked to begin with, but by the end of the night we were! AND, I know for a fact that one of the many red roses he threw out into the sea of girls storming the stage that night, was expressly thrown to me. Anyway, that is my story, and I am sticking to it!

* This kind of describes me to a T…..I am not an early bird or a night owl. I think I am some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.

* Here is another post I saw that only a select few will get and smile at. “When a cougar gets so old she needs a hearing aid, she becomes a Def Leppard.”

* Here’s a game I think a lot of us can get behind! The game is called nap roulette and it is played when you decide to take a nap and do not set an alarm. Will the nap be 20 minutes long or four hours long? Nobody knows. It’s a risky game, and that is why people like it so much!

* My favorite colors are black, dark black, pastel black, off black, faded black, and light black.
