The New Pour-In-Place Surfacing

THE NEW POUR-IN-PLACE SURFACING under the Stockton City Park’s playground equipment was laid on Thursday, September 24th by a subcontractor of Sterling West of Nebraska. This project was made possible through the fundraising of the Stockton PRIDE organization, a KDHE Tire Waste Grant and local donations, as well as through donations from the Olive Reed Schafer Fund and the William H. Andreason Fund. It is through the efforts of all combined that this project is now a reality. The new surfacing will now be enjoyed for years to come by the children as well as the adults of the community.

Troy Rogers and Chloe Plumer

Body
TROY ROGERS AND CHLOE PLUMER were crowned king and queen in an unusual, but special, Homecoming ceremony held last Friday at Tiger Stadium. With the volleyball team, of which Chloe is a member, in “quarantine,” the proper COVID protocols were followed with the candidates keeping their 15’ distance. However, through the magic of Photoshop, King Troy and Queen Chloe were brought together for this traditional photo. The 2020 Homecoming Royalty consisted of King Troy Rogers, Jace Hull and Markeis Spiller, and Queen Chloe Plumer, Lexi Winklepleck and Harley Kester.
