JOHN AND MALEE BERKLEY were the host family of foreign exchange student Jimmy Valdivieso from Lima, Peru during the 1993 school year. The Stockton Lions Club helped sponsor students each year through this worthwhile program. He enjoyed helping Malee cook on occasion and especially liked to make and eat hamburgers.

THE WILKENS SITE south of Stockton had been a hub of activity during the first of the year in 1994 when five loads of structural steel had been unloaded to begin the construction of the building. Roger Roy of Roy Construction had supervised the project.

THE MAIN STREET CHRISTIAN CHURCH had depicted “The Last Supper” as their Living Christmas Card during the evening hours in December of 1994 when each church made a living display on the front lawns of the schools. People lined the streets to walk by each display of this annual event.
