County talks roads during weekly meeting

Body
The Rooks County Commission met with Roger Morris on Tuesday, August 15th, to discuss road concerns. Morris stated that Section Line to Y Road by Plainville has eleven potholes that need attention. He noted how large in circumference they were and that they were getting deeper. The edge of the road is also showing signs of deterioration. Morris asked the commissioners what the long-range plan was to address this situation. The commissioners stated the road and bridge department has a chip and seal project in the fall, and they will see if that road is on the schedule.
