KELSY CLAYTON took first place in her bracket at the War of the Roses 2020 Kansas Girls Open Tournament on March 1, 2020. Clayton participates with the Salina Wrestling Club. She is the daughter of Brooke and Ryan Clayton, granddaughter of Michele Kee, Stockton, and great-granddaughter of Evelyn Kee, Plainville.

IN ROUND ONE, Clayton (left) won by a fall over Beyer (MWC Wrestling Academy) (1:57). In round two, Clayton won by fall over Secrest (Paola Wrestling Club) (1:18). Clayton finished round three quickly with a fall in 18 seconds against PenaZamarron (Hays Wrestling Club). Clayton is gearing up for USAWKS 2020 State Folkstyle Championship to be held in Topeka, March 13-15, 2020.
