The Stockton Church of Restoration is presenting Kayla Atkins in concert on Sunday, March 24th at 6:30 p.m. Atkins is a world-renowned worship concert vocalist appearing worldwide in Nashville, Tenn., Pennsylvania, Germany, Israel, Italy, PWOC military conferences, school assemblies, and worship services.

Atkins began her entertainment career at the tender age of two when she and her father opened in concert with American singer BJ Thomas. Atkins has recorded two CDs, “Rhythms of Grace” and “All Things New.”

Atkins’ Christian faith has been very meaningful to her life and music. She explains that her style of music is to tell a story that can connect with others, as well as include a redemptive message.

Atkins grew up on a Kansas farm, learning hard work ethics. She learned to be a neighbor and a friend to all. She aspires for her songs to be simple and real, just like the world she grew up in. Kayla Atkins is the daughter of Roger and Gwen Cooper of Alton.

Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the inspirational sounds of Kayla Atkins at the third N.O.W. (Night of Worship) on Sunday, March 24th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Stockton Methodist Church, 204 North Elm, Stockton. Scott Faircloff, record producer, will join Kayla on the keyboard along with the band. Please call the church office if you have questions at 785425-6562 or email newlife2@ ruraltel.net.
