Prairie Heritage Auction of Plainville (1001 South Washington Street) will host its 48th Anniversary Two-Day Auction starting with an Open House this Friday, February 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m., and Saturday, February 3rd, during the Sports Card Auction.

On Saturday, February 3rd, the Sports Card & Memorabilia Auction will start at 8:30 a.m., featuring 40 years of factory boxed sets plus graded cards, binders, autographed balls, KU oil can, Sports Illustrated, and action figures. The Open House will be held during the Auction.

Then on Sunday, February 4th, the Antiques & Collectible Auction will start at 9:30 a.m. with coins, and featuring antiques and collectibles with Fenton glassware on the schedule at 10:30 a.m. Vintage toys will be auctioned at 11:30 a.m. with Pyrex at noon, quilts at 12:30 p.m., and furniture at 1:00 p.m.

Prairie Heritage was started in 1976 with C. F. “Chick” Selbe as the broker. Susan Stahl became a real estate salesperson in 1978. So, to celebrate 48 continuous years in the real estate and auction business, they would like to invite everyone to a complimentary dessert bar on Sunday! The auction crew includes Sheila Hachmeister, Lora Weigel, Paula Glick, Kelly Lowry, Tammy Werner, Stephanie Nuss, Gwen Hitchcock, Jamie Martin, Jason Stahl, and Paige Harding.
