Introducing the Conservative Alliance of Rooks County

There is a newly-formed grassroots organization called the Conservative Alliance of Rooks County, that is now in the process of organizing their board of directors and officers. They began with a collective group of individuals who voiced concern about the direction of the state and the federal government. Their mentors from “Americans For Prosperity Kansas” are supporting all of the organization’s efforts.

The Mission Statement of the Conservative Alliance of Rooks County reads: “Our mission is to maintain and protect Rooks County’s honest, hard-working people with conservative Christian values by sharing information with truth, respect and integrity. We encourage civil political conversation with no vitriol or disrespect.”

The organization will be hosting speakers who will inform and answer questions on topics and issues that concern families and every citizen in the communities.

The first of the Speaker Series will be Kansas Speaker of the House Dan Hawkins, with elected area officials invited, and dignitaries from around the state set to attend.

The Alliance will host the program on Thursday, April 11th, at the Plainville Township Hall-Senior Center located at 108 South Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. The main topic of discussion will be Medicaid Expansion, state taxes and other issues. There will be a Question and Answer session following Hawkins’ presentation. There will also be a catered dinner that evening sponsored by the Americans For Prosperity Kansas.

Future Speaker Series will include information concerning the protection of the Kansas oil industry, the purchase of Kansas Farmland by Chinese and other foreign entities, the invasion of illegals from the southern border of the USA, infiltration of liberal extremism into our public school systems, and the abuse of hard-earned tax dollars.

The Conservative Alliance of Rooks County looks forward to working alongside the local and state leaders as they continue to maintain the conservative Christian values that Kansas was built on.
