HEAVY SNOW AND BLIZZARD CONDITIONS hit the Stockton area on Monday, and by the evening hours the wind gusts of 40+ mph resulted in near whiteout conditions. The blowing snow greatly reduced visibility for those needing to be out in the elements during the night and into the early morning hours on Tuesday. School was closed and residents were advised to stay indoors if at all possible.
