Allan Joseph LeRock

Allan Joseph LeRock, of Plainville, passed away on January 6, 2024, at his home, at the age of 73.

He was born on March 7, 1950, to Garth William and Clara Agnes (Hrabe) LeRock in Stockton, Kansas.

Allan grew up in Plainville and graduated from Plainville High School in 1968. In 1968, he met Sheryl at the Rooks County Fair. Together, they attended Fort Hays State University and were married on June 6, 1971, in Alton, Kansas. He worked part-time at C.O. Mammels and later worked for Gary’s Western Auto for many years.

He enjoyed collecting, camping, fishing, and watching KU, K-State, and Chiefs football. He had many special furry kitty friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sheryl of Plainville; sister-in-law, Verlene LeRock, of Plainville; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary LeRock.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Plainville Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Plainville.
