Judith Ann (Arpin) Bieker passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at her home in Hays. She was 76 years of age.

She was born on December 19, 1946, at her home in Damar, Kansas, to Alfred and Marcella (DesMarteau) Arpin.

In Damar, she spent a happy childhood as one of five siblings and graduated from Damar High School.

Judy graduated from cosmetology school in Hays and then met Bill Bieker. On February 3, 1968, they wed in Hays and began their 54 years of marriage until Bill’s death on October 18, 2022. Judy and Bill grew their family to include Scott, Brian, and Danelle during their marriage.

Judy used her talents as a hairstylist for many years and later worked at a local dental office.

Survivors include her sons, Scott Bieker of Olathe and Brian Bieker of Manhattan; daughter, Danelle Bieker of Hays; a sister, Renee Marcotte of Damar; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at WaKeeney Church of God, 1300 Easter Ave., WaKeeney, Kansas. Inurnment for the immediate family will follow in Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery in WaKeeney.

Services are in the care of Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
