Kathleen A. Strachan

Kathleen A. Strachan, age 67, of Hays passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Hays Medical Center. She was born May 26, 1952 in Hays to Gregory and Mildred (Hoff) Dechant. She graduated from Marian High School.

She had worked for the Good Samaritan Society, Hays and Fort Hays State University. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays.

She is survived by her mother, Mildred Dechant of Hays; a son, Robert Strachan of Hays; a daughter, Lori Riedel of Plainville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Brock’s-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601 with Fr. Brian Lager officiating. Inurnment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.
