Lavonne Mary Normandin

Lavonne Mary Normandin, age 83 of Plainville, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the Redbud Village in Plainville. Lavonne was born on November 25, 1936 in Bogue, to Hobson and Lorenda (Bellerive) Desair. She was raised in Damar, where she graduated with the class of 1954. Lavonne was united in marriage to Duane Normandin on April 27, 1955 in Damar.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Lavonne is survived by her sons; Larry, Rodney and Chris Normandin, all of Plainville, and Mark Norman-din of Salina; a sister, Helen Bertolini of Lincoln, NE; a brother, Eugene Desair of Damar; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hobson and Lorenda Desair; husband, Duane Normandin; sisters, Marguarite Russell and Sharon Desair; granddaughter, Kelsey Normandin; and step-grandson, Ryan Desair.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainville with burial following in the church cemetery.
