Linda Lea Groff, of Stockton, passed away on January 14, 2024, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, at the age of 69.

She was born on February 1, 1954, to Lee Wildrex and Mildred (Spargo) Walker in Stockton.

Linda attended school in Stockton and worked as a cook and bartender. She married James Groff on March 2, 1991, in Plainville. Together, they enjoyed fishing and frequenting casinos.

She is survived by her daughters, Milly Hughes of Altus, Okla., and Cora Desaire of Midwest City, Okla.; sister, Patty Eggers of Sterling; four grandchildren, Chelsea Jackson, Lindsey Hughes, TaeShawn Spears, and Caleb Darden; and three great-grandchildren, Cyanna, Paisley, and Mia.

Preceding Linda in death are her parents and siblings, Bonnie Thompson, Edward Walker, and David Walker.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 11:30 a.m., at the Stockton Cemetery.
