Martha Jane Conn Zwahlen

Martha Jane Conn Zwahlen was born August 11, 1946 in Stockton, Kansas to Glenn Robert Conn and Marjorie Jane (Yoxall) Conn. She passed from this life on Saturday, December 21, 2019, in Catoosa, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years. Martha was raised and educated in Stockton and graduated with the Stockton High School Class of 1964. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in education from Fort Hays State University and was a member of Delta Zeta sorority. For many years, Martha was a swimming and diving coach in Anchorage, Alaska. After moving to Oklahoma, she became a Real Estate Agent, working for 19 years and retiring from Keller Williams Realty in Owasso.

She was married on January 1, 2012 in Collinsville, Oklahoma to Charles “Chuck” William Zwahlen.

Martha was a faithful member of New Life Assembly Church in Collinsville since moving to the area in 1984. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as being outside and swimming, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include: husband Chuck Zwahlen of Owasso; five children: Penny McGuire of Terlton, Oklahoma, Jeff Zwahlen of Woodland Hills, California, Cheryl Dooley of Playa Del Rey, California, Annmarie Harris of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Donna Zwahlen of Maumelle, Arkansas; a sister, Shelly Schneider; two brothers, Leslie Conn and Doug Conn; five nieces and nephews, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Marjorie Conn, sister-in-law Mary Conn, and infant nephew Logan Douglas Conn.

Final interment is in Ash Rock Cemetery. A graveside memorial service will occur later this spring.
