Robin Laura Bigge-Harris, 81, passed away on June 26, 2023, at The Grove Senior Living Center in Independence, Missouri.

She was born on her family farm in Stockton, Kansas on September 15, 1941 to Kirk and Bethyl Bigge.

Robin grew up in Stockton, Kansas and graduated in 1959 from Stockton High School. After high school, she attended Manhattan Christian College and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She went on to earn her Master's degree in Social Work from Kansas State University. After completing her educational studies, she relocated to the greater Kansas City area, where she began her career in Social Work.

Robin dedicated her life's work to Social Services while working and serving within the communities where she lived. She had a passion for government and civic organizations.

Robin worked at numerous community shelters for abused women, children and families during her professional career.
She served in numerous capacities, including Client Advocate, Grant Writer, Teacher's Assistant and Direct Care Provider. In addition, she co-founded the non-profit organization DRAG and was very active in many volunteer programs, where she received the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award.

Her parents, brother Thomas Bigge, and son Roger Bigge, preceded her death.

Robin had four children David Bigge, Okturia "Wynde" Bigge Ross, Roger Bigge, and Randall Bigge.

Robin Bigge Harris leaves to cherish her memory two surviving sons David and Randall Bigge; one daughter Okturia "Wynde" Bigge Ross and husband, Kevin; sister Cynthia Bigge; nine grandchildren, Andrea Robinson, Arai Bigge, Brooke Robinson, Whitney Robinson, Zyveia and Zyveair Dorn, Aaron Bigge, Ryan Bigge, Kimora Robinson; and other relatives and friends.
