* Move over Disney, a theme park with an estimated $2 billion price tag, is coming to the Midwest! The American Heartland Theme Park and Resort will open in 2026 in the northwestern Oklahoma city of Vinita. The park will cover 125 acres and be comparable in size to Florida’s Magic Kingdom or Disneyland in California. The Americana-themed park will showcase rides, live shows, family attractions, waterways, and restaurants. It will have six distinct American lands: The Great Plains, Bayou Bay, Big Timber Falls, Stony Point Harbor, Liberty Village, and Electroplis. The Missouri- based Mansion Entertainment Group’s design team includes over 20 Disney Parks builders and Walt Disney Imagineers. It has also hired design firms that other major amusement parks have used in the past, including Six Flags and Universal Studios.

Then, of course, he was fabulous in “The Count of Monte Cristo.” Plus, “The Thin Red Line” is another movie of his that I love. Let’s not forget “Frequency.” And we all know he was born to play Jesus in “The Passion of the Christ.”
