* I am on a big Prince kick right now, which has been going on for over a month. I don’t know how long it will last, but I will enjoy the ride for as long as it does! So, depending on the day and my mood, my favorite Prince song could be anything from “Little Red Corvette,” “Purple Rain,” “When Doves Cry,” “Raspberry Beret,” “Let’s Go Crazy,” “Baby I’m a Star,” “1999,” or “I Would Die 4U.”

* My grandson and I experimented and made a packaged hot cocoa mix with microwaved hot water versus the old-fashioned milk and cocoa heated up in a pan on the stove. Now, I have to say that we used Hershey’s syrup instead of Hershey’s powder cocoa, so we plan on another taste test soon when I have all the right ingredients and marshmallows. For now, the instant mix is the winner, even though the milk version was much creamier in texture. The reason the instant came out on top is mainly due to the cool snowflake mug we drank from.

* For all you wrestlers! It is time to watch “Vision Quest” again or for the first time! Love that Louden Swain!

* What are some of your favorite smells that bring you back to wonderful memories or you still enjoy today? I love the scent of homemade bread, line-dried sheets, chlorinated pool water, suntan lotion, right before it rains, anything my mom was cooking, Baby Magic, and baby snuggles.

* I saw this, “Name the first song that comes to your mind that starts off with the word HEY.” Here is the list of songs I came up with: “Hey Jude,” “Hey, Hey, Were The Monkees,” “Hey, Good Lookin’,” “Hey There Lonely Girl,” and “Hey, Mickey.”

* Who remembers Band Aid’s song “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” Bob Geldof and Midge Ure wrote this ’80s song to raise money to combat Ethiopia’s 1983-1985 famine. The original song was sung by Paul Young, Boy George, George Michael, Simon LeBon, Bono, David Bowie, Phil Collins, Paul McCartney, and Bananarama, to name a few. Check out the original video on YouTube. * This is true of me, especially at Christmas time. “I don’t care how old I am. If I am in a store and I see a toy with ‘Try Me’ on it. I’m pushing those buttons.” * Please enjoy this M&M

casserole at your next family gathering. In a large bowl with a lid, mix one large bag of plain M&Ms, one large bag of peanut M&Ms, one large bag of almond M&Ms, one large bag of peanut butter M&Ms, one large bag of caramel M&Ms, and one large bag of mini M&Ms together. This recipe is only for experienced cooks, so don’t feel bad if you don’t get it right the first time!
