* If you fail, never give up because FAIL means “First Attempt In Learning.” End is not the end. In fact, END means “Effort Never Dies.” If you get No as an answer, remember NO means “Next Opportunity.”

* Some people say they are old enough to have burned a CD from their computer. But I am old enough to have recorded songs played on the radio onto a cassette tape in a boom box!

* I don’t know why stores are locking up their merchandise. They should be locking up the people who are stealing it.

* How many of these sayings do you know? I don’t know half of them, so I guess I am not as old as I think I am!

See you later, Alligator.

After while, Crocodile.

Out the door, Dinosaur.

Chop chop, Lollipop.

See you soon, Baboon.

Take care, Polar Bear.

Give a hug, Ladybug.

In an hour, Sunflower.

Maybe two, Kangaroo.

Better swish, Jelly Fish.

Chow chow, Brown Cow.

Better shake, Rattlesnake.

Bye bye, Butterfly.

Gotta go, Buffalo.

Let’s jam, Sam.

Blow a kiss, Goldfish.

Be sweet, Parakeet.

* The correct spelling is SCHOOL, not SCHOOL. Some people put the second O before the first O, and that is wrong!

* Why English is so hard to learn….“The bandage was wound around the wound.”

* Who remembers K-Mart Blue-Light Specials?

* I read this and totally agree….“People keep saying ‘Kids are just different these days.’ I disagree. Kids are the same. What has changed is a society with lowered expectations, lack of discipline, and acceptance of disrespect. Give kids boundaries, expectations, rules, limits, rewards, and consequences. They will rise to the challenge and exceed your expectations every time.”
