* When Taylor Swift announced her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department, all I could think of was the movie with Robin Williams, “Dead Poet Society.” If you haven’t watched it, put it on your list! “Oh, captain, my captain!”
* Who’s your favorite Greaser? Is it Ponyboy, Dallas, Johnny, Darrel, Sodapop, Two-bit or Steve? Mine is Ponyboy, with Sodapop on the side! And if you don’t have any idea who these characters are that I am talking about read “The Outsiders” by S. E. Hinton or watch the movie. It has an all-star cast with C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Matt Dillon, Diane Lane, Leif Garrett, and Tom Cruise. Cruise was also in a movie called “TAPS” when he was just starting out. It is a great movie with “Legend” and “All The Right Moves” a few more titles of his early work that are worth checking out.
