No shot clock at Stockton…yet!

Although the Kansas State High School Activities Association approved the 35-second shot clock on a trial basis for the 2024-25 basketball season, Stockton will not be participating in the trial as reported in last week’s Sentinel.

There was a misunderstanding in the correspondence with Clint Bedore, co-athletic director at USD 271, and we were notified Stockton High School will not be opting into the trial. So until the shot clock is approved for all schools (if ever), it will be basketball as usual at SHS!
